This is next week : about DiscoQueer Party for English and tourists :)
Vendredi 1 août 2008Tags : Agenda, english, paris

What the hottest disco night in Paris can suggest in the heart of Oberkampf district and in August ? Something burning inside of EACH dancer by vaudou bongos, divas crescendo, overdrive beats, electronic keyboard madness and more. From latin, brazilian disco to hi-nrg eveything is mixed on 1975-1983 vinyls, on one of most powerfull soundsystem downtown, at Nouveau Casino club. For this third “hot summer night edition”, resident Dj Aïcha (who launched the discoqueer gigs 2 years ago) and the great guests she picks up from whole Europe will be the selectors of this very special 70s summer disco trip. Jussi Kantonen (Finland) is back from Japan with disco gems he knows only to create an unexpected atmosphere with the highest quality of exotic decadanza grooves . Lemmings (Paris) is among the rarest in the city to provide with a very talented touch a great travel between late 70s disco and 80s laser dance, among Italo and hi-nrg. If you didnt know Aïcha, mind about her: she terrificly loves Disco like no other Djs and will make you gyrating like in a 1979 burning dancefloor.
For 5 euros all night from Midnight and a Free surprise drink till 1:30 AM, DiscoQueer is the place to be next Saturday 9th August, as the hosts love to gather every kind of people, ages, lifestyles, colors, countries under their real quality Disco sounds.

Trammps, Bunny Sigler, remixer Tom Moulton etc.. In fact, I dont play so much 75-76 elements except in warm-ups or in bars. It’s too “souley”, with all the respects I have for this style. You won’t hear any music over 1983 to be franc (except some brilliant powerfull hi-nrg tunes like “male stripper”, or fantastic happy Italo).
